UTA Fall 2013

I thought I would start a thread for those applying to UTA for Fall 2013; AP or on-campus. I will be applying to both and am hoping to find a job at a partnered hospital before the January 5, 2012 deadline.

If only 30 people showed up maybe that means that's how many people get wait listed?

I doubt it. I'm sure plenty of people chose not to attend, or lived in another city and did not want to make the trip.

That is what I thought since this program is suppose to be convenient for people not able to attend the campus program.

I noticed that on the UTA Nursing Facebook page, a Fall 2013 applicant asked how to check on the status of his application. They responded by saying that he needed to contact his advisor for more information. I wonder if our advisors know more than they are telling us right now. :p

I bet they already know who's been accepted.

I'm guessing. I'm glad I double checked what hospital they had me under because when she just checked today they had me as a THR employee even though I work at Cooks! She said that the committee hasn't ranked anybody yet but I think they have.

If the advisors know who got in they are good at hiding it. Mine was very mutual last week and talked to me in "Ifs". What would happen if I were rejected and what were to happen if I were accepted.

What?! How can they not have rankings yet? I was told we would find out late April. That's in one/two weeks. Ugh. I don't understand this process lol.

Here is my logic... they probably had over 450 applicants just for the AP program then 450 for the on-campus. Its been 14 weeks since our applications were due so that leaves them reviewing 6 applicants per program per weekday at this point. I'm pretty sure they had no problem doing that and probably have us already ranked but making adjustments where they see fit.

That makes sense! Did you apply to both?

I only applied for the AP program at UTA and also for TCU's on-campus program so we shall see.

Did I see somewhere that our Pharm final would include questions from previous test, or am I confusing this final with another class?

Trying to study and feeling a little overwhelmed.
