I checked the comments from last year and I think some posted on the 26 of October about their acceptance

How do you know this, oldtexan?

I was told by the Longview University Center advisor that we are suppose to know within 6 weeks of the application deadline. It was on the fifteenth of September so we should find out this week.

Also about points...

On a thread from a few years ago someone said anything above a 70 is competitive.

That was in 2011, I think. It may be more competitive now. Hoping I get in with what I have!

Hi! I applied for the accelerated BSN program at UT Tyler Longview. Anyone else? I am getting so impatient waiting to hear something! :) Good luck to everyone!

I know this because I am in a UT nursing pre-requisite class and the director of that program told us that we had to wait until then. Told us why we had to wait and so I am just passing on some of the info for your benefit. I am not at liberty to tell everything but will tell enough to help you out with the waiting. :)
