USF Fall 2012

I was looking through the site and realized there was no place for USF Fall '12 applicants. Just wanted to know who was applying and for what program?

Good luck to everyone!

Yes, I believe you all do my gpa hasn't met the average its just a 3.55 however Im hoping with my experience being a intern full time at Shands with the lactation this past spring will help also my involvement with midwifery school and school organization will help me get in. Does anyone know how many they admitted last year.

I read another forum for USF from about a year ago. This girl had a 3.59 and healthcare experience so I think you have a chance too. Good luck:)

Yea I just hope that I get in this is the last school I applied too I didn't get into the others and its almost like I cant take it emotionally lol another rejection letter. Do you know how many applicants that usually apply to the program.

@ sami 856 the website submitted a response after I applied that read in 3-4 weeks that I would be notified via e-mail with a decision.....Do you know if it matters if you submit the application close to the deadline I hope not because I submitted mine on the 13th of June.

@ taytay05 thank you!!! let me know if you are accepted and I will do the same. I'm super excited!!!!

@ Chirsleak08Dont give in just keep the faith ....look at it this way your time is yet to come!!!

Yes. I know this if I dont get in I figure I have my cna license so that way I can work for a year and maybe even apply to a lpn program and just start from there.

I am a current USF student and am also waiting to hear from USF as to whether I am accepted in the Upper Division Nursing Program. Having talked to the Nursing advisor many times.... she said that we will normally hear something in about 2 weeks from the deadline. They say 4-6 weeks just in case there is a holdup.

As far as how many students they are admitting. There is a combination of Upper Division and 2nd Degree students. I heard that in the past there was a total of 90 students admitted but the rumor weed is saying that more may be admitted this fall so fingers crossed.

I'm taking Pathophysiology this summer at the College of Nursing and LOVE IT. It will be one less course to take in the Fall.(YAY!) Having talked to people in my class that are already in the program. I haven't heard of anyone with less than a 3.8GPA but I also haven't asked everyone.

Good Luck to everyone!

I'm waiting too! For the second degree program. I hope it's 2 weeks because I'm ready to know!! Fingers crossed for everyone! Does anyone know if we receive acceptance email or snail mail or is it online??

Hey everyone! I applied to USF for the Fall 2012 2nd Degree Sequence program as well! I hope we all can get in!! And I'm not so sure how we are going to receive if we got rejected or accepted. Maybe e-mail? Not quite sure...but hopefully it is in two weeks. I hate waiting..

Palmharbor, do you think a 3.77 is close enough to a 3.8 to be accepted?

Has anyone who applied to the second degree/acclerated program seen the status of their application change from "applied" to

"committee"?
