Urgent question about prerequisites

Hey everyone, I wanted to know how you sent/reported your prerequisite marks to the nursing schools you applied to.

One of the schools has spaces on the application where you report the course, grade and school it was taken at. Was it like this for you guys? Or do you have to send the prerequisite grades (transcripts) directly from the schools they were taken at?

Featured Replies

Depends what the nursing school wants. I'm not sure if you're in the USA or not, but there are usually 3 different ways transcripts are dealt with when applying:

1) Sent directly to Nursing CAS. Nursing CAS is a a website/company where many schools have their applications on there. You enter in all of your grades and send official transcripts directly to Nursing CAS.

OR

2) Official transcripts are sent directly to the nursing school you're applying to.

OR

3) You can upload either unofficial or official transcripts in the application. If you are accepted, then the nursing school will require you to submit official transcripts after actual acceptance.

Most applications will have you enter in all of your pre-req grades, when they were taken and where they were taken. Where it differs is how and when they want the official transcripts. It should say in the application. If it's not clear, ask the school.
