Good news people. I had 4 nursing homes I had mapped to apply at. Woke up early, said my prayers, took a long shower and was at the 1st spot at exactly 7 am. They have paper applications so the receptionist let me fill it and told me to bring it back, DON would be in around 8 but would be free around 9 after meetings. Did just that and went on to nursing home 2, they would call me back then on the 3rd nursing home I interviewed around 10 AM. Told the DON and Administrator exactly what happened and they we're kinda impressed that I just let it go. They kept asking what I was going to do and I told them I don't retaliate and I think it's kinda stupid. Also mentioned that I was thinking or writing a review on indeed or Glassdoor but had changed my mind. If I couldn't mention the ADON that did that to me directly then what would the point be. I didn't want to tarnish the companies name and after if that's how she conducts herself she won't be the ADON for long. Told them exactly what I have to do everyday and it's almost like I'm in prison with this board order. Got told to wait for a little bit while they make some phone calls to corporate since they've NEVER dealt with TPAPN/probation. 20 mins later, I got an offer. I start orientation Monday, just did the drug test and passed and the background shouldn't be an issue. So that's that peeps, thanks for all the encouragement yesterday. I was in a dark place for the last 3 days and really there's no telling what I could have done had I gone to confront the ADON. Thank you again.
***** I didn't even return the 1st application. 😃😃😃😃

Awesome! That's great news! Congrats! Your decision not to retaliate, and the way you explained it about not wanting to hurt the company's reputation because of one person's actions, that right there told them you are the kind of employee that they want! So that bad experience (& your reaction to it) got you this job. It's almost poetic :)

As a monotheist I don't believe in "Karma" per se...but hey, karma was working for you! Hope this turns out to be the beginning of good things.
