Update to: Help...ER Interview tomorrow!!!

Well I went for the interview and within hours I had formally be offered the job!

YEAH I am so excited.

They have 2 OBS rooms that are tele monitored which I think we great to work in, I am sure that it will be a LONG time before I get into them...unless I am more qualified than others!

Anyways thanks for the pointers and to all the ppl that post on here cause I gained a lot of insight from this board that really made it easier to go in for the interview!

Wish I heard back as soon as you did...grrr...I interviewed a week ago Monday and she said she would get back to us by the end of that week. There are 5 positions available and she (the manager) informally offered both me and a friend of mine positions but hasn't gotten back to us yet with a confirmation.

She is not the most organized manager...lol..I applied in JUNE!!!! It is no big deal for me though because I love my job on the Surgical floor and if I get the job in ED great, if not, great...just would be nice to know...grrrr.

All I can say is that COMPLETELY sucks Larry!!!

I would be going insane! I got my started date on Friday for Orientation and I start all that on April 11/06. It all transpired a littel faster than I could have ever anticipated!

OK..she finally got back to me, she actaully tracked me down on the job again took me aside and said welcome to the ED because we would love to have you. She said the hold up was getting ahold of my current manager--I guess they have to give the current manager the heads up before they offer a position to someone that works for them.

I don't have a start date yet but she said within 30 days. I'm excited and nervous, but also sad to leave all my close friends up here on surgical.
