Unsure of Status

This fall I will be applying to the nursing program at my CC. This is my third time applying but the first time that I am actually qualified to be accepted. The program requires a 19 on the ACT, a 2.0 GPA and a competetive score on the TEAS exam(>78). I have a 20 on the ACT, a 100 on the TEAS, and my GPA is higher than a 2.0 as well, so my question is Do you think that I have done well enough this time to be accepted into the nursing program? and Do you have any advice that may better my chances?

Hell yes lol. a 100 on the teas? that is crazy good. that is like 50 points for alot of bsn programs in california. Im imaginating that your GPA is way better than 2.0. As long as you have a competitive gpa I dont see how you won't get into your schools nursing program unless it is a lottery system.

I agree that a 100 on the teas is incredibly impressive. However, if your GPA isn't atleast a 3.3 or above, I'm not sure about your chances getting in.

Depends on who else is applying and how they rank compared to you. there's no way to predict this. As the above poster stated though, a lot comes does to GPA. A great test performance is great. They want to know you can do well for the long haul as well. If you have a GPA of 3.5 or above I suspect you are in. If not, its a toss up.
