UNLV SON Fall 2015

I really didn't want to be this person. Meaning the one who makes/follows a blog for the cohort they're applying for. Only because I'm usually a carefree person and I know this will only cause anxiety.

Anyways, we're about a month away from the deadline, how exciting!

Good luck to all of those applying. :)

I can't post my full points yet, since I'm still a week away from taking the HESI, but if anyone would like to share their points, please do. Also, if anyone wants to provide any tips for the HESI, that would be great as well.

I called and scheduled a signing session today and wanted to share some information with those who may have procrastinated, like myself. There are 5 days left with spots available: June 4th, June 18th, June 19th, June 25th and June 26th and majority of these only have 2 spots available. So, if you have not yet done so, definitely call and schedule your appointment.

I look forward to getting to know those applying and hopefully starting a new journey with you guys come Fall. :)

If you took the original class at UNLV I would say you need to retake at UNLV; otherwise I would suggest NSC.

sorry im chiming in so late! my points are at 91.2 and I am so unbelievably nervous! I'd go and retake the HESI again if there was enough time but i know theres a few month waiting period before you're able to retry... Do you guys think ill be fine? when i went to my signing session I heard that there was a huge fluctuation in applicants.

What do you mean huge fluctuation? Lol. I went to the first signing session and she said there were already over 120 applicants. Hopefully they didn't get too many more lol. I think you're fine. I'm at 90.02 or .04 can't remember. I'm nervous too. I have interview at roseman tomorrow. Hopefully that can be a backup plan

Well, she said there were a lot of applicants in the beginning but some didn't attend the signing sessions. When I went she said there were only 90 applicants. Idk! Lol. I'm just really nervous is all

I'll pray for the two of us! Hahaha! Want to exchange numbers? That way when they do phone calls we can alert each other?

I also heard that. A lot of people signed up for the signing session and then never attended... Mine was supposed to have 15 and 5 didn't show...

Well, it's a good thing for us! I just hope that there aren't too many high scores, that way we all have a good chance at getting in. I cannot tell you how bad my anxiety has been since my signing session. I'm just hoping that the 91.2 is enough to get me in..

I'm sure 91 is a great score to get in with :) my session is this Friday I will ask more questions from them like where the overall points seem to be haha a lot of people have 90 and over this semester it seems. Extremelyyy nervous

What are your points?

I'm only at 89 so I'm very nervous. It sounds very close and points are all over the place this semester

Well, the past two semesters the cut offs have been 89 points! I hope we will be in luck :) I just hate playing the waiting game.
