Anyone enrolled in the BSN program at University of Phoenix? What's it like? They have a program starting on January 28th - I plan on attending their information meeting on Tuesday - December 30th. Let me know what you think.

An excellent program. Yes they are expensive but you will have everything you need to earn your BSN. It is an accredited program (The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) http://www.aacn.nche.edu/accreditation/ and your credits are transferrable to ANY university should you choose to further your education. I have found the degree to be very respectable and has never been questioned or seen as a problem. When you do your research you will see many BSN and MSN programs have gone to online formats. I plan on attending UNLV for nurse practioner and their program is online based. Even though UOP was expensive I guess I would have used it on gas and fast food travelling to and from campus. One thing though, you must be very disciplined because you will be doing a majority of your studying at home with many distractions. Just like any other program you are required to do clinicals and they will check. Good Luck!!!!!

Yes, they are expensive but they are fully credited too - no problems for me and I have both a BSN and MSN from them.
