UMB Spring 2012

Hello! I am in the process of applying for the spring 2012 semester at the Baltimore campus!! I didn't see any threads out there yet for people who are applying so I figured I'd start one :) Feel free to share gpa, TEAS scores, etc and any updates on admission!! GOOD luck to everyone!

I want to know NOW!!! I hate waiting!

Wow. November. That seems SOOOO far away! Especially if you end up having to go to a Plan B. If I don't get in this semester, I may need to take some more prerequisites in the Spring in order to apply for more schools next Fall. November. (sigh)

I just got my acceptance letter for my Plan B—and I have to respond by Oct. 19. Hmmm...

Thanks! I got in to AACC's nursing program (it's non-competitive now, it's first come- first serve/rolling admissions now...guess I got my papers in in time!), but it's an ADN program and it'll take me just as long to get my BSN as my ADN, so I'm really hoping to get in to UMB so I can save myself a year or two of school.

Has anyone checked out their UMB application online? I did today and noticed that next to "decision" it said "committee ready." Does anyone know what this means? Is this a good or a bad sign?! I'm on pins and needles waiting to hear back!

That's a good sign! It means that your application is ready to be seen by the committee. Mine switched from "Complete and Ready to Review" to "Committee Ready" a few weeks ago. Nothing to worry about :)

Thank you for the information. I am so happy I found this website. I have been going crazy wondering and I think my husband is sick of hearing about my worries!

So glad my application finally says Committee Ready! Could time go any slower???

I know, right? The only thing that's helping me is that my husband & I have a weekend trip to Dallas planned (he was born in TX and is a redic Cowboys fan--boooooo) for the first weekend in November and I just keep reminding myself that I have to wait until then before I know. I keep trying to turn "decision waiting" in to "mini-vacation waiting"...less anxiety that way

hi , everyone. i applied to umb for spring too But i have really low teas score. my gpa is high and all others are good i ithink. do i have a very low chance to get it ???

@Tina999. We all have to wait and see...None of us knows what they're looking for exactly. Have you applied to any back-up schools just in case you don't get in?
