UIW Nursing Spring 2015

I applied there as well and haven't heard anything yet. The email I received after the deadline said we should hear something by mid-August. Maybe they're just behind or something.

Ok i was starting to get concerned. The last application cycle i applied but didnt get in due to low hesi scores. The deadline was feb 1 but they didnt notify until march 10 through email. Im guessing maybe there was alot of applicats to review but if i hear from them ill post it on here (:

Omg yes me to, the last information session uiw had for there nursing program there was a girl that never received a email in regards to her admission or denial. Hopefully that doesnt happen. Have you heard that they changed there admissions test to the TEAS V for Fall 2015?

That's unfortunate. Did she speak with someone after the information session to see what happened? Yes, I saw that. I'm actually transferring from out of state. I applied to UIW (HESI) and UTHSCSA (TEAS V). I found that the TEAS V was harder than HESI. I think I'm going to email or call Dr. Shaver today.

Yes she did speak with them she didnt get in due to her HESI scores. I have also heard the TEAS V is harder than the HESI. Since you applied at UTHSCSA my friend notified me she received an email today regarding her admissions. So you should hear from them soon. Let me know if you hear from uiw. Hopefully we hear from them soon.

Still haven't received anything. I've been calling but no answers or return calls. I'm going to email Dr. Shaver and hope she responds. I would rather go to the campus but I'm in in Maryland. ?

I called this thursday and asked the secretary if she knew what time frame would nursing applicants would be notified. she said maybe in a week or two. That the committee is still reviewing applications i hope its soon.

Also just read that your in Maryland thats exciting such a big move but im sure you will like it.☺ Ive been there once its so nice. Hopefully you find out soon so you can get your moving plans set up.
