UIC AGMS INTERVIEW 2020

Hello future nurses! Has anyone here applied for UIC's entry-level master's program for fall 2020? I applied but have not heard anything about interviews yet. I know they're supposed to be in late Feb. Also, anyone who has been accepted to DePaul but waiting for UIC? The waiting is killing me!

Thanks, y'all!

Can anyone provide insight and advice for the interview? I have mine Friday and would like to be prepared. Thanks in advanced!

They asked me what my biggest strength is, what the biggest issue in healthcare is, how I can contribute to UIC’s dedication to diversity in healthcare, and one other question that I can’t remember (sorry!)

There were five people in my group, two were on skype so we only got 4 questions.

I think it’s just important to relate everything back to nursing and be genuine in your answers.

Congrats to all who made it in!

Did people receive admission decisions already?!?!

@coolmom

I don't think so! I think they should get the decisions by late march or early April!

That's what I thought ? I just got confused by ems007's post ?

Hi there!

I received an email when the interview went out for a Scholarship app that utilizes our FAFSA information. For others that have applied, I was curious about anyone's opinion of whether I should wait to submit until I get my SAR report from FAFSA since my FAFSA is taking a while to process. I know that UIC requires us to email someone the SAR report and EFC. I have my EFC, but not the SAR report and I am curious if I should still proceed considering the scholarship app is due this Monday?

Thank you for your help and insight!

I would do the application now and then send your SAR as soon as you receive it! You can always email them and tell them youve completed the fafsa but are awaiting the sar just to cover your bases ?

Yeah I agree! Just so they know it’s not you who wanted to wait to submit it.

Has anyone heard anything from the UIC or got any updates on their application?

I asked if the timing was going to change due to COVID-19 on March 12. They said decisions were planning on being sent out “within the next two weeks”.

@trhchicago

I hope we heard back from the UIC next week! Finger crossed for all of us! ?
