Hey! that's great! I live in Wahiawa so I chose WGH. Have you gotten your scrubs and polo shirt yet?

i went to the bookstore to buy scrubs but they didnt have any white ones, so I asked someone about it and they said someone is going to email us to check what sizes we needed....not sure if this person knew what she was talking about though haha!

yeah I got one polo but definitely want to go back and grab another but I didn't see any scrubs. There wasn't anyone there to ask so I was just going to try another day. Michael was saying that it always seems that the bookstore either runs out or gets their shipment late so I tried going already so I won't be one left with out any scrubs. lol I wonder when they are going to be e-mailing us about our supplies, I want to start getting them slowly instead of all at once right before school.

I know I wanted to start getting my supplies a little at a time too. A previous classmate of mine who got into the program last year told me expect to spend about $1000 on supplies. i guess we just gotta keep checking to see if the scrubs come in. For the polos I only saw the green ones...is that the one we need?

Oh wow! well hopefully soon since I know I can't spend $1000 in a lump sum. yes I believe the green polos are the ones we need. That's what the bookstore told me and the only ones I could find. So I hope so. lol

Just saw that we got our supply list for the Fall. It's definitely a lot of books we will be needing.

Yes! It sure is! My friend mentioned that textbooks alone will run us about $800, but we'll use those books from 1st to about 5th semester. Do you have any experience in the medical field?

well I guess that is good so we won't be buying this many each semester. No, no experience. I only know people who are in the medical field and well of course dealt with many people in it as well. Do you?

i have a couple years experience as a phlebotomist and about 10 years experience in animal medicine, which can be pretty similar to human medicine lol but no experience in direct human patient care. I'm excited and nervous at the same time about starting the nursing program!
