Yes! That would be great. Thank you so much. I was stressing about parking. I wanting really looking forward to having to find parking or paying $5 a day. It sounds like it would be a little cheaper too since we missed out on the parking passes. I'll look it up and see what I need to do to get a spot. What time and where are you going to park tomorrow? Want to meet a little before and we can walk to orientation together?

ok great! I just talked to a girl starting her third semester and she said that everyone wears athletic type white shoes, so we should be good. So looks like i'll be wearing some too. lol

So I'm wondering about shoes, did y'all buy actual nursing shoes or just all white closed shoes? I found some sketchers white nursing shoes but also found all white sketchers athletic type shoes and I'm wondering if I can get by with the athletic ones since they are more comfortable.

Yes. I'll be driving everyday. I'm planning on parking in the lower structure but I'm hoping since I'll hopefully be getting there early enough I'll find parking along university but I know it's metered so I'm not sure how that works or how long I'll be able to park there. I've heard of people parking in the neighborhood off of maile and walking over so im going to see if that would work also.

yeah i had some money saved for supplies and uniforms but the textbooks are really taking me by surprise. i knew it would be a lot but wasn't thinking this much. i should be able to purchase everything else i need next week. i already ordered all my supplies except for a waist pack. could one of you tell me which books are included with the textbook package? more than likely i'll be picking that up next week but i want to see if i can order some of the books not in the package online now. Thanks!

How are y'all affording all these books right now? Lol I unfortunately have to wait until next payday or until I get my student loans to be able to buy them. Especially with being a couple of hundred dollars.

Ok great! Thanks for clearing that up. I need a waist pack as well. Unfortunately I don't think they are optional so looks like I'll have to be ordering one soon. Oh and I checked out the green scrub pants from Walmart and they are slightly different types of green. I wonder if it would be a big deal. The Walmart ones are a slightly lighter green than the uh ones.

so that includes all the textbooks we will need for Nursing right now or will we still need to buy more books?

I ordered my bandage scissors from MDF website. they were like $7. they only showed a kelly clamp and not a hemostat so i'm not sure if we can use that or not but i ordered it anyways and that was like $6, i'm still going to order a hemostat just to be sure.

Oh wow that's great! I still need to buy all my equipment. I do have my uniforms though. I wonder if our blood pressure cuff and stethoscope can be any color as well. I found a MD one bundle on the MDF website that comes with a stethoscope, cuff and pen light for less than $100 but they have different colors and i'm wondering if i could buy a bright pink one. lol If you see any of the books at the bookstore let me know

Last I checked they still don't have the books yet. It was still summer books. I'm hoping they get them soon so I'm not waiting last min. Have y'all purchased your equipment yet? I'm trying to order it online since I don't know if I'll make the deadline for August 3rd.

No, not yet. I'm looking at possibly just getting the bundles since they are saying it is cheaper that way
