Ughh! its one of those...

I have always wanted to be a Nurse. I am a disabled Vet and after years of back peddling and my wife and I saying we cant afford to go to school we had an god send letter sent to us saying that the military is going to take care of my school. This was great news! so we researched BSN programs and found one fully accredited in a small densly populated town that has just built a bran new facility and expanded their nursing program by 2x fold and the school is amazing! They take 46 twice a year and only around 60 apply (per the nursing division) they wanted to up the antee so they raised the minimum gpa to 2.5... They do require a hefty amount of prereqs which I understand.

So my vent is this. My wife and I have moved across america for this program and I have taken full time semesters and full time quarters (at a community college across the state line (1 mile)) and I have recived 47 hours not counting my remidial classes. I have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 and Science/pre-req GPA of 3.0. This frustrates me! I have been working soo hard to get a good GPA. And I feel like I am failing. I have no C's at all, but a few B- because of my class loads. I have 5 classes left until I can apply and 4 of them are Science/pre-reqs (A&P 2, MICRO, PATHO and Genetics). A&P abd Nicro are the only classes I am taking this semester so I can get two good solid A's for my application but I am very down about my GPA I thought I was doing so well :(

Thanks for listening I just needed to vent. We moved from texas! We moved 1900 miles! I want to do better and achieve my dream.

I understand the venting. Good luck and hang in there!!!!
