UCF Spring 2018

Hello future nurses,

I couldn't find a forum discussing the UCF Spring 2018 Traditional BSN program so I started my own. Is anyone planning on apply to the UCF Spring 2018 Traditional program? If so, what campus? Daytona or Coco? Why did are you choosing that campus? I'm really sad that they don't have a Spring program in Orlando.

I'm leaning toward Daytona, but the rent for the apartments are kind of pricey.

Be sure to contact an advisor first. From what I was told UCFs nursing accepts your first attempt if it's a C or higher, meaning if you passed your class with a C you cannot apply for grade forgiveness. I could be wrong, but double check anyway.

I'm currently taking Anatomy 2 and microbology together so I'm not sure yet. Aiming for two As!

Hello! I'm also applying for UCF Spring 2018. I'm planning on applying to both Cocoa and Daytona, just so I can increase my odds of getting in haha. Do you guys know if you could get accepted to both? or if you apply to both do they just put you in one?

My overall GPA is going to be 3.7 after I finish this summer term. Science GPA is like a 3.8 or a little above maybe. I'm from MDC Honors in Miami :). I haven't taken the ATI Teas 6 yet, but I'm scheduled to take it next week! I've been studying but I didn't purchase the handbook or anything like that, just doing the online assessments and googling whatever I don't remember.

Hope we all get in!

You can "double dip" and apply to both campuses. You put your first choice in the application and that's the campus you would attend if both campuses wanted you in their program.

I took AP2 and Micro together. Not sure if I would want to do it like that if I had to do it over.

Ended up having our AP2 Lab practical on a Wednesday and then a Micro exam on a Thursday. A little stressful.

What's everyone else's stats? I kinda wanna know how I stack up haha.

hoping I get at least a 85 on my teas next week :'S

I am planning to take my TEAS in a couple weeks.

I will post my scores once I get my TEAS done.. í ½í¸‰

Sorry to say, but my GPA won't be helping to make it any easier to get in.

I completely agree with you on that.

UCF is my first choice, and it doesn't hurt to apply. Especially since the Spring term has less applicants compared to the Fall term. I plan on applying to other schools just in case.

I'm planning on living in Orlando and going to Cocoa campus by car lol. I hope this isn't too crazy, if not I might have to move/find a roommate. If we get in maybe we could find a place together if any of you are interested :D

Taking the TEAS this Friday, I'll update then.

That's not too bad of a drive. You can hop on SR 528 and there's an exit that takes you right to the Cocoa campus...less than 5 min away. Pretty much a straight shot depending on where in Orlando you're looking at :)

Just an update, I got a 87.3 on the TEAS!
