UCF Spring 2018

Hello future nurses,

I couldn't find a forum discussing the UCF Spring 2018 Traditional BSN program so I started my own. Is anyone planning on apply to the UCF Spring 2018 Traditional program? If so, what campus? Daytona or Coco? Why did are you choosing that campus? I'm really sad that they don't have a Spring program in Orlando.

I'm leaning toward Daytona, but the rent for the apartments are kind of pricey.

Thank you! :)

Just checked- only one item is still under review on my application (pre-reqs) but my grades from my summer class don't post until next week, so that one will take a while. It's so exciting! It's disappointing that UCF does not factor anything other than grades/scores though. Past/current jobs, extra curricular activities and such can speak volumes about people.

Yeah same here, can't wait to see if I got in. What are you guys going to be doing during fall semester?

Fall... Finishing my last prerequisite and wrapping up my AA...

Waiting on pins and needles... and just working a ton to save up money so that I can hopefully drop down to part time work if I am admitted. I just sent my transcript for my summer classes, now just waiting on UCF to say they have received it!

You have a great TEAS score to help you out.

Hey guys. Fellow applicant here for UCF Cocoa Spring '18. Wish you all luck I am super nervous. I had a 86.7 TEAS score, a 4.0 pre-req GPA, and a 3.8 overall GPA. My application finally got to the green under review status so another 6 to 8 weeks to go. Crossing fingers!

I think people get notified the end of September.

I'm getting nervous and I haven't even applied yet.

Mine is all green except the prereqs, I think they haven't gotten my transcript even though I sent it at the end of July lol. But I'm sure itll work out since I only had 1 prereq there. I'm also working to save money... but I just have to get a job first lol

Well.. look at it this way... You won't have to quit a job for school at least.

Just finished up my summer B classes and almost all my grades are posting in the system for my transcripts. Just waiting on one more. That will hopefully show by Monday when I will take it over to UCF and apply for the program.

Well... I dropped off my official transcripts showing my summer classes and I applied for the program before leaving their admin office.

I wonder how quickly some of the items will start showing check marks?

I am seeing the same thing as most of you guys, everything green except pre-reqs. My degree audit on myUCF shows all my classes/GPA are correct. When I called the nursing program, they said I should be fine, that as long as it's there in my UCF, it should pull up fine on their end too. "Should be fine"... ok.. no stress lol. All I can do is just know that I did my part and got the grades/scores that I needed. Now we wait ever so patiently for the next 6 weeks! I have probably checked my application status at least 5-6 times a day since submitting! Does anyone have friends that are currently in the Cocoa program?
