UCF ABSN Summer 2019

Not sure if anyone else has started a thread for this application cycle, so if not let's start one! I'll be applying to the program, but my undergrad gpa is not competitive in the least. Either way, here are my stats:

Science pre-req: 4.0

other pre-req: 3.75

Over all undergrad gpa: 3.26 (pretty low)

I'll be taking the TEAS 2x if I don't score higher than a 90% the first time to balance out my application. Ive read and in a prior year's thread that if you are above average in 3 of 4 categories you are pretty much set. I'll update this once I take the TEAS. Anyone else applying? What other programs are you considering? My stats will fall into the range of accepted applicants, maybe we'll be classmates in 2019! Also it's been quite some time since i took the TEAS any study tips for the science portion?

My application is still "Under Review" too. But I recently got all Green Check marks. It took them forever to change "Have prerequisite admission requirements been met?" from yellow to green.

Yeah mine is still under review. I thought it would have been updated by now but mine turned from yellow to red all of a sudden and I can’t help but be a little worried. I emailed an advisor but no response yet. Hopefully this will get sorted soon.

I experienced the same issue with my prerequisites. They weren’t entered into my degree audit, which categorized each prerequisite as “unsatisfactory”. I emailed the ABSN advisor and the issue was resolved within a few hours. Just make sure you stay on top of them until it’s fixed.

All green

It’s all green now! Yeah I emailed her and called them today and now it’s green. I was worried for a bit.

My application status has now been updated to Eligible”
