UCCS FNP Program Fall 2019

Hello. I applied to the fall PMHNP program and have the same questions. Hopefully someone will respond. Are you in CO? My biggest concern/question is about clinical placement and how difficult it is, and how much UCCS actually helps students with placement.

I haven't heard yet, hoping to any time now! I was accepted to another program, but I think I'd rather do UCCS if I am accepted. Did you apply any where else? Keep me posted if you hear anything!

Yes I applied to UNC hybrid program but was not accepted ? Am anxiously awaiting to hear as well! Why would you prefer UCCS over your other program? Do you prefer a fully online program? Thanks for responding! I will let you know if I hear anything and you do the same ?

I was accepted to University of South Alabama which is also all online but with one campus visit before clinicals. They do not help with clinical placement at all and I think it would be easier to get a placement if I went to a local school the sites are familiar with. USA is quite a bit cheaper though. I'm also hoping to connect with people in the program to be study buddies and to have as support through the program. To be honest I have been quite conflicted through this whole process! I'll let you know if I hear anything.

Hi, I applied to the Fall 2019 PMHNP program and check my email daily but have not heard back yet. The last email I received was the one stating they had all needed materials. Just wondering if anyone has heard back yet from any of the NP programs for UCCS?

I still have not heard back yet either. I was told by the UCCS Nurse Practitioner group that we probably won’t hear back until May/June ?

Hi everyone! I was looking at the UCCS Facebook group and it looks like acceptance letters are starting to go out! I haven’t heard anything yet but has anyone else heard back yet?
