UBC 2021

Hiya folks!

It's a bit early, but since the application period opens in a couple of months, I thought I'd start this topic to share support/encouraging words/info/nervousness.

Is anyone else already excited for next September?

As the next one on the waitlist I am also really anxious to get my acceptance! I hope it comes soon.

Hopefully you hear some good news tomorrow! From previous years they usually send acceptances from the waitlist every 5-6 days so ??

BCIT is starting to send out admissions so the people who were waiting for BCIT might decline their offers soon! I am sure you will hear back soon!!

Yeah I noticed BCIT is sending offers! I also applied there but ultimately UBC is my first choice ?

Hey all, congrats to everyone who got in this cohort! I'm wondering if anyone would like to share their stats or background with me. I'm trying to strengthen my application for next year and I wanted to get an idea of the competition.

An obvious area, is the casper and grades...but I'm lost on the supplemental. I have volunteer experience from VGH and working with kids with disabilities but I'm not sure where to go from here. The section on courses and certificates recently taken confused me...THX ?

Hey everyone!

Hope all is well. I am currently number 13 on the waitlist for UBC BSN and have been quite anxious regarding waitlist movement ? I was wondering if there have been any updates on movement thus far so I can see how my odds are looking.

I was 13 on the waitlist last year, and I got an acceptance on June 19th, so the long wait is expected!

I am number 6 and haven't heard anything! It is a painful wait!

Ah I see. Is 13 typically a good spot to be in?
