Thank you for saying that! I am so excited! Can I ask what area u are from? And has it been hard to find placement for your clinicals? And do u work full time and go to school?

I live in Mississippi. I work 30+ hours/week. I take call so it varies. I have not had any problems so far with clinical placement. You don't start clinical until the last three semesters. I have my first clinical setup to start next month and just sent out an email yesterday regarding fall clinical and got a positive reply before the end of the day. The one for summer had several applicants prior to mine. I was told I was chosen because I am at UAB. In this area UAB is very well respected.

I've been accepted into the FNP program as well. I have chosen the July orientation and wondered if anyone had received a packet regarding orientation details? I'd like to confirm travel plans as I will be traveling from the Midwest.

I recently got my packet for the FNP track in the MSN program. All those that have been accepted to UAB's Fall 213 cohort.

I'm in the dual option acute and primary PNP program HOPING with fingers crossed that I can be switched to FNP. I'll be attending June's orientation. I'm in the new 2nd degree program so I am taking a couple of bridge courses this semester to begin MSN courses in August. For anyone that has any input on their courses, if you had a choice to take advanced patho with leadership and management this summer or advanced patho with transition into the nursing practice this fall. Thanks!
