3 types of Contraceptive methods??

Published

I dont find a reference regarding this. I saw none in my book, really. But the homework says there are 3 types of contraceptive methods: Natural method, artificial method, and surgical method of contraception. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each method. AND list and describe 2 specific and most frequently used contraceptive method for each type.

Anyone who could direct me to a reference? either a website will do. thanks!

Pros tend to be no pregnancy but cons are usually no std protection. Abstinence, bc pills and vasectomy would be the top in each category I would think.

I agree with doing some research before asking. The community is very helpful once you provide an idea of what you're working with and show some independent thinking.

Here's a hint because I am in a good mood: one form of birth control for women is the IUD. One benefit is that pregnancy can be prevented for 5-10 years. One problem is the potential of uterine perforation.
