TWU Spring 2010

Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Spring of 2010? Just thought that I would start a group for all of us hopefuls so we could share information and have a way to communicate with each other.

Have you taken your HESI A2 yet? Have you taken all of your pre-reqs? If not, what do you have left to take?

I have taken all of my pre-reqs, and I just took my HESI yesterday. I didn't think it was bad at all, but I prepared for it for about 3 weeks.

If you haven't noticed, TWU has made some slight changes that I think some people will not be happy with. They are taking into consideration the first grade made at pre-req attempts for several of the classes like A&P, micro, and another class. What do you think of this? I wonder how it will change the applicants chances of getting in?

Good luck and I look forward to meeting you!

I didnt get an email either :(

No need to worry about email. It was just an announcement. But keep checking your mailbox for upcoming week.

This was in email.

"Registration will open for Spring classes on November 2 and run through

Dec 21 at 10:00 am. From Dec 21 through the holidays, the registration

system and the Datatel Student System will be closed for a critical

software conversion and will reopen on or after January 4th. Ensure

that you are able to get the classes that you want by following the

approved registration schedule. Faculty are being advised to submit all

semester grades to the Registrar by Dec 21 at 10:00 am. Student grades

that are submitted on time will be posted to DARS (Degree Audit System)

and will be accessible during the break. Further information for

students will be provided through e-mails, Blackboard and other

information media."

no email here. hope that's not bad. It could be an email from a different college within TWU. Like college of social sciences or something. I don't think it means much

I'm pretty sure that annoucement is just for general registration for the spring semester. It usually starts in Novemeber. We are all student at TWU itself.

I believe that this is from TWU not from college of nursing. As I have one email from college of nursing in september and it says from CON.

NEWS............. I just called Denton campus.

Lady said they mailed all letters today.

students who live close to denton might get tomorrow. But I think in Houston we will get next week.

She said students in texas will get their mail no later then tuesday and wednesday .

Oh wow! That means we could be getting it tomorrow or monday! I'm so nervous!

I hope too.......but with good news.

students who live close to denton might get tomorrow. But I think in Houston we will get next week.

i live in college station and go to a&m, my parents live in the dallas/fort worth area (not denton but denton county) and when my mom sends mail or packages i get it the next day....so those of us futher south and in houston could potentially get it tomorrow as well! as long as they send them before the last mail pick up that is!
