TWU Spring 2010

Online Patho is for people in the RN-BSN program.Trust me I've tried to get into the online one in Dallas or Denton campus,because I live in Houston and the TWU campus here doesn't allow people that aren't already in the nursing program to take the class on campus.

Mau00 that sucks to not be able to take the class outside of the program. I don't know what I would be doing if I had to take this class with the rest of the classes I'm supposed to take that first semester. Good luck getting in.

Well,I'm taking Patho at another college,but it's a community college since I couldn't do it at TWU.The thing is is that TWU used to allow prenursing student to take it on campus here,but I guess the rules changed for only the nursing student. I was really hoping I could take it at TWU in person,but even though this pathophysiology class I'm in doesn't even slighty equal the level to TWU's patho it's at least better to be some type of background information to help me so at least I'm familiar with the material when I have to take patho again our 1st semester,if I get into the nursing program.It's better than nothing.

Since you're taking it at a community college will they take it as a transfer?

I don't think so,usually those type of classes that are upper diviision nursing school classes will not transfer from a community college,but I will still try to see if it will although I doubt they will take it.

So.... how do you feel about that test? I actually felt pretty decent. I think I have figured out the appropriate studying strategy. I hope my grade reflects that!!! Hope everyone did well!

Man, you finished fast lol! I don't know how I did. I think I did well. I guess I'll find out once she posts around 3pm or so. That's what I like about this class-that she tells us our grades the same day and not a week and a half later like some other classes I've been in.

Ha! Yeah, I either knew it or I didn't, so I went pretty quickly. Also I was rushing to get back to my mom's to pick up my little ones, so I had to bail as soon as I was done, instead of going back and rethinking answers like I would normally. I definitely felt more confident than I did on the last test!

I felt pretty good about it. I don't know that I can say that I've figured out the studying part yet, only because she said this was the easier test of the semester, but I did feel like I knew more of the information rather than guessing on 70% of it like last time.

MMM...I did ok. I could have done better. I'm just going to have to live with a B, I guess. Btw, if you want to evaluate the course and instructor, there is an email from SETE, saying you have a week to evaluate her. I did. And I'm glad I did. She is nice, but kind of needs more structure to the class and my creativity needs to be stimulated. It's just not happening for me right now with the way she reads word for word lol.
