TWU Spring 2010

Is anyone out there applying to TWU for the Spring of 2010? Just thought that I would start a group for all of us hopefuls so we could share information and have a way to communicate with each other.

Have you taken your HESI A2 yet? Have you taken all of your pre-reqs? If not, what do you have left to take?

I have taken all of my pre-reqs, and I just took my HESI yesterday. I didn't think it was bad at all, but I prepared for it for about 3 weeks.

If you haven't noticed, TWU has made some slight changes that I think some people will not be happy with. They are taking into consideration the first grade made at pre-req attempts for several of the classes like A&P, micro, and another class. What do you think of this? I wonder how it will change the applicants chances of getting in?

Good luck and I look forward to meeting you!

32,33,33? On a scale of 100?? Wow!I actually did pretty good on the science portions even though, because I was scared I was going to run out of time. That's a good question,I never though about that, but i don't think they would include the avg of ppl who only need to take the math, reading, and grammar.Alot of nursing schools actually only ask for those 3 sections.

I can't believe sep 1st is next week!wow! Also, don't forget to check your TWU account guys, because at TWU's information session last month, they said they will be asking us questions through our emails following the deadline and they will only give us 5 days to respond ot they will throw out our application. So make sure you guys keep checking!

Yeah,I'm going to look on my account right on on evolve.I took my HESI last month in july, and I remeber the class avg scores being similar to your Rha Hea

Rha_Hea, yah I agree with you. Btw, I had an advising session yesterday at the denton campus, and I am glad I went. They could not see 3 of my classes, so they wanted me to get more transcripts. Well, I knew TWU had the transcripts already, so I went to the registars office and had to check if they had them. they did. then i had to go back to nursing office and make sure they could see them; for some reason, they were able to access them at that point, but not before me going to the registrars office. If I hadn't gone yesterday for advising, I probably would have received an email saying they were missing grades, and I would have freaked out.

Chem 75, Biol 75, and A&P 71 was the class avg on my account.

goopey, sorry I am unable to Pm you because I do not have enough posts yet, but I needed to ask you if you retake the hesi part how do you request the new score to twu...do you have to call up hesi and request it or does it go automatically.

I believe you would have to send another registration email to elsevier just like you did for the first time you took the HESI. it's the same process-with TWU as your choice of school.

Did you retake the exam or only hr critical

Did u retake the whole exam oronly the critical thinking?
