NJ22 wish it was that cool here

Ado glad there was only a little hail

Dianah hope you don't have to give the dog meds much longer

Tweety hope your next shift is better

Stars that was good of him to help you like that

Work was quite frustrating initially. The person I was covering for got 2 new cases, thankfully a coworker took 1. Spend considerably more time doing her work that I expected. Stayed relatively cool until I had to do make a referral and our new referral program acted up and gave me fits. Finally just called the referral in. Once I got her stuff done the remainder of the day wasn't too bad, although towards the end of the day I got a new case of my own. Things were probably exacerbated by questionable sleep the night before and a mistaken decision to try some fasting. Gave up on that once I realized what the day was going to be like

The rest of the day was calm, which was good as I was very tired by the end of the work day. Was able to use the exercise bike at a normal speed for the normal length of time, knee was fine

Today should be calmer at work, have the side project but nothing else going on. After work will do the grocery shopping and exercise some more, this time I'll increase the resistance a notch and see if the knee is OK with that

Will be another warmer day, mid 80s, no rain expected

Okay. I'm up and have to get going so I can get to the dealership and see if I can get the warning signs on the dashboard fixed. I'll be back later, so stay tuned to see what occurs.

Good afternoon

Joe, I hope you have a better day work wise. I get agitated when I fast so I only do so for procedures.

Stars, I hope they can get your car road worthy and it's an easy fix and that they can squeeze you in and get the work done.

I got up at 6AM for an early meeting at 7:45/ It was a good meeting but nothing much we're doing except trying to get people to do I&O and Daily Weights. As a leader I should make people more accountable. But just more stuff in an already busy overstressed staff.

Dr.'s appointment for my benzo went well. She said she sent through the renewal but we didn't talk about my sleep or anxiety, she's just leaving well enough alone. Thank goodness as I do need it. I can't raw dog insomnia like Dianah since I'm working.

Back when I had RSV my UA at the urgent care had hematuria and at follow up I did not. Today I was negative, so that makes two negatives so my doc so nothing to do there.

Unfortunately my BP today was 166/90 and I admitted my home readings for the last month were over 140 consistently and I now have a diagnosis of essential hypertension and a prescription. She listened to my theory it's the steroids and she said when I'm off the steroids and it goes down she would take me off the medication. She agreed it could be that.

Anyway somewhere at work are my keys. They disappeared from my possession and are no where to be found. I had the clerk at the doctor's check their office and the room I was in, the bathroom, nothing. No one turned it into security, as it's not in the meeting place, the bathroom or the cafeteria I stopped to get a bit to eat after the meeting before my doctor's appointment. Nada. I Ubered home and got my spare key, Ubered back and picked up my prescription and got my car. It's not in my car. This is not the first or second time keys have disappeared into thin air for me.

Just up from a nice long two hour nap. Nothing else accomplished.

Tweety, I misplace things frequently. Just yesterday Twin A needed to leave for work but no one knew where the car key was. Once we established that the last time the car was driven, he and I went to Taco Bell, I decided to check the pocket of my pants in the laundry hamper. Tada!

Yesterday my day started with a complaining family-member-of-a-patient and didn't get better from there. I discussed my work frustrations with Hubs and Twin A when I got home. Then Facebook started suggesting therapy/counseling. LOL

I made more mini-frittatas last night, this time using spinach and parmesan. I've been disappointed with a lot of the low-carb recipes I've found but eggs and cheese are pretty good. There's a quick bread I want to try.

Last I knew Hubs was planning to meet a friend at the lake for a quick sail late this afternoon so the boys and I are on our own for dinner.

Hello all!

We took the RV back to the storage area. While I was following dh, I noticed one of four brake lights wasn't lighting up with the others, and it also didn't blink when the turn indicator was on (the other one did). So, that is something dh will have the folks at the storage place check.

I dropped dh off after dropping off the RV, then I got some copies made (our copier is making stripes on any copies we attempt at home), mailed a letter, and got a few items at the grocery store. When I got home, I put the groceries away, then drove the car to the car wash -- couldn't stand it anymore, it was TAN, not WHITE, from dirt! I didn't do as complete a detailing as I usually do, as it was 90 degrees out! But, as I told dh when I got home from washing it, "I feel better now!"

Time to cool off and relax.

Have a good evening!
