i have a friend who is a registered nurse in our country. she is hep b carrier. she really wants to work in usa but her being a carrier stops her from taking nclex or english exams. once, she attended a review class, someone mentioned that one cant work in america if one is a hep b carrier.how true is this? pls. share if you have any information.

There are many nurses in America who have HIV and hepatitis and practice without much scrutiny or incident.
An active diagnosis of tuberculosis, however, would be a major obstacle to finding gainful employment in the U.S.
