Travel Case Manager

I am ready to hit the road as a travel nurse in the field of Case Management. I am working with a recruiter at American Mobile and looking at TX, AZ, and NM (compact states).

Any other Case Managers care to team up on travel assignments?

Hi I am looking to do same but haven't found what I am looking for..lets chat if you're still looking!

Bumping this.. I need to get licensed in a few states first but would like to keep in contact with you if possible. My first states will be CA, , WA, AZ, and probably Texas .

Don't most states have reciprocity? I am licensed in WI and I was told I didn't need to get licensed in AZ, CA or TX?

I had no idea you could even do this lol. Let us know how it's going!

I am currently on my second case management travel assignment. I am in San Diego. I have really enjoyed it. I am in a UR position. The one think to make sure to clarify when you take an assignment is what kind of case management position it is. The first assignment the agency tried to give me a "case management" job being a home hospice job in a very bad area of LA.

I am interested to know more about this. I have recently talked to a recruiter about possibly going to WA on a case management assignment, but I have a child, she is not school age, however I do need to worry about childcare hours. Do you think it would be possible to do? I wish I had a nurse buddy that wanted to travel with me and could help with her, but I know that is asking a lot! I would love to talk more with you about case management travel!

This is a good question for a travel agency recruiter. Some hospitals and agencies have child care onsite or very near their facility so being a travel nurse is possible. Good luck! :)
