Transitions practice exam

I did the practice exam yesterday and scored a 54% on exam form (A).

Has anyone purchased the practice exam for transitions and what is a good score?

After reading several posts, I think a score of low 70's has proved to be good enough to pass - as far as I can figure...

I scored in the 70s on most practice exams and ended up with all A's and one B on the nursing exams. Good luck!

My highest score on the practice exams never made it out of the 60s and most of them were WELL BELOW the high 50s, even dipping into the 40s. But I always took Practice Exam A before I even cracked open any study material. Practice Exam B didn't yield much improvement after studying. But I was ready for my exams and never had to repeat any. Those practice exams were not used for a scoring purpose for me....I needed a way to 'deprogram' the real-world way of thinking for the sake of passing the real exams. So I used the practice exams to see 'why' what we do or are taught on the job is so different from what textbooks and exam makers are saying. Practice exam questions, for me, were just obstacles to overcome in order to reach the rationales. I received 5 Bs and 4 Cs on the actual exams and that includes A&P and Micro. Of course, I only put in 2 weeks worth of study in between exams and on one of them, I put in only 1 week of study (do NOT try that at home folks!) I don't know what I was thinking!! I passed that one with a C only because a higher power realized that I had a :jester: for a lawyer, or in this case, student. It was so funny. The moderator/professor said to me, "Lynda, you know your grades will be higher if you study longer". Though I didn't say it, my thoughts were, "yeah, right, whatever...and your pockets will be thicker if I stay in this college longer". LOL, but she was right. I couldn't accommodate her, though. I had other plans and staying in college for 4-7 years for a 2 year degree was not part of my plans. Six months total and I was a blurr! LOL!

All that said, don't let the practice exams guide your thoughts on readiness for the real exam. Use them as what they are...a learning tool to test your understanding of the rationales.

Thanks all, I plan to take practice exam B in a few weeks. As long as I pass the exams and don't have to repeat any I'll be happy.

I took practice exam A on Sunday and got a 55% and then I did practice form B last night and got a 65%. Im scheduled to take the test tommorow. Ive never gotten more than a 65% on any pratice tests and ive gottene at least a "B" on all of my exams. Good luck! Any Ive studied for this test for 7 days. I think you will be fine taking it relatively soon!
