Hi my son just finished his 2nd year taking up BSN in the Philippines. We want him to come in the United States to join us and continue his studies here. Can you give me suggestions on what the steps are in doing so? He's an average student and it seems all are the nursing school in or near New York City, where we live, are very competitive. Any insight and suggestions would really be appreciated. Thank you!

I'm not that familiar with the nursing schools in NYC, although my mother did get her Nursing degree there, but that was a long time ago! I assume you're asking the question because you're the one paying for it and your son probably has his hands full with the move.
I can tell you this there is a big difference in price between private schools and State schools. And I understand NYC "City" schools are even less expensive. Perhaps there's an admission officer you can talk to?
