I was wondering if anyone has accumulated more than 60 credits at their local cc? I've accumulated 62 so far and I plan to finish up this fall and transfer to a state uni... so I will have 70 credits total. It took me a while to decide that nursing is right for me, hence the amount of credits taken. Since most unis only take 60 credits, does anyone know if any credits taken past the 60 transferable credit mark are just dropped? For example, chem II and micro would be my 66th and 70th credits, respectively.

I believe they will automatically take credits that are related in the nursing field like chem and micro. I don't think they will necessarily drop the extra credits. You will most likely graduate from the univ with more credits than needed but if you are missing classes that the nursing program requires, then you will just have to some more onto what you have already. But you should definitely double check with the school you are trying to get into. Hope this helps!
