I am a nursing student in NY and am looking to move to North Carolina. I just started my 2nd semester now; with 1 more year to go and wanted to know if it's best that I finish here in NY and then take the NCLEX-RN down in North Carolina? What are good RN program colleges in North Carolina?

Welcome to AN! It is unlikely that any nursing classes you've taken so far will transfer to a new school. This is because while the state BON sets what must be covered, the school has the ability to design the curriculum as they like. Schools in the same state may have a very different order of teaching various concepts/theories, but to add in a whole other state adds another level of differences.
Because NCLEX is the same exam regardless of where it is taken, you could take it in New York but apply directly to NC for licensure.
If you do decide to transfer schools, look on the NC BON website for approved programs and on the ACEN and CCNE websites for accredited schools.
