Transcript Evaluation

Hi, I am enrolling at WGU for the RN-BSN program and I was wondering how long it took for transcripts to be reviewed or an average timeframe... I received an email 2 days ago saying they had been received but there was no timeframe as to when I should expect the evaluation to be done.

Thanks!

Once all my transcripts were received by WGU's transcript department, the evaluation for transfer credit took anywhere from two to three business days at the most.

Yes mine was pretty quick too! Good luck!

Oh wow. My enrollment counselor said 2-3 WEEKS. I am hoping it's closer to 2-3 days. I am anxious to see which classes I will receive credit for.

I think they give themselves leeway for high volume times or for cases where they have to do more follow-up (eg. someone who previously went to school in a foreign country). But it's usually pretty fast.

Ok my last transcript was received by WGU on Friday 10/31. My evaluation was completed and emailed to me this morning 11/4.

That's great!! How many CU's do you have to do?

I have to complete 40 CUs. 9 of those CUs should be super easy for me to clear as I took those classes in the past but WGU didn't accept them for transfer. Hoping to be done in 2 terms :)

Update: they received my transcript 10/28 & they completed and emailed the evaluation on 11/3. I have to complete 48 CUs!!!!
