i'm so torn..please please help!

hello! ok, i know i've posted about this before but i am so torn here. i got accepted to the BSN program for TWU-Houston and UT-Houston..and i do not know which one to choose! i've tried weighing out the pros and cons of each one and i'm still so lost. i have til this friday to make a decision and i am freaking out. i know its pretty much a win win situation, but it's still a BIG important decision that i need to make quickly. i was wondering if any of you could please help me with this difficult decision. if you attend one of the two, how do you like it? do you know someone who attends either one? what have they said about it? i've heard UT is a bit tougher..what's your take on that? i know UT goes 5 semesters and TWU goes 4..that's not a big deciding factor for me though..i don't mind going to school in the summer, b/c if i'm not going to school, i'll just be working. why does UT go 5 semesters and TWU only 4? well, just please please please help me if you can! thank you so much in advance!!!!

Hey FutureNurse85,

My advice, go with your gut!! Do your research, trust yourself and be confident. Best of luck, you're in my thoughts and prayers :)

I would do the one that is an easier commute or the one with the 4 semesters.. Both are great schools. Congrats.. The sooner your done you can start what you have worked so hard for.. goodluck

Find someone you are close to: tell them to take some time and then pick it for you.

Build it up into a big thing. Think about it. Take them to dinner and tell them to wait till dinner is over to tell you.

drumroll. . . . . . .

And the choice is . . . . . . . . ___________

The second they tell you, take stock of that first gut check. Did you go, YEA! to the choice, or RATS!

And then pick, accordingly.

Perhaps you could meet with the director of both programs and discuss the curriculum with him or her?

I think both are great schools, and congrats!:lol2: :balloons: They are both located in the medical center, so both will have access to the world renound Houston medical center. If it were my choice, however, I would go with UT-Houston. I am attending their BACC2 program that starts this May. I had actually applied to UTMB and UT-Houston for their BACC2 programs, and once I found out in early January that I had been accepted to UTMB's BACC2 program, I did not even send in my application to TWU. (Later on I found out I also got into UT-Houston's BACC2, and decided to go with UT-Houston). Hope this helps! Good luck!
