i am graduating soon and have signed up for the kaplan. although, i am not sure if i should use it because i took the nln diagnostic readiness test and am 92% likely to pass the nclex. i am thinking about cancelling the kaplan, saving $400, and studying myself. help me what do you think about this?

I'm in the same situation as you, so hoping someone has advice. I got a pretty high (over 1000) score on HESI, and decided to not do Kaplan. But now I am second guessing that decision, just because if I don't pass, I know I'll think its because I didn't do it...

If you scored that high and truly believe that you are well prepared from school, you can probably do fine studying on your own. Suggest you get the Saunders Comprehensive Review for your study. Good luck.

I personally wouldnt do it.. I would just do the Linda Lacharity book and saunders or liipincott (your choice). I say this bc of your scores and bc your a US grad, and mainly bc your fresh outta school
I know, I dont want to regret not doing it....
Thanks for the replies. What is the Linda Lacharity book all about?

Our nursing school must think that the Kaplan review is good. All graduating students can now take the Kaplan review free- it's paid for with our tuition! You bet I'm taking it. I want all the help I can get.

I've been through a lot and Kaplan review really help me to stay more focus analyzing the questions and rationales. Any review center/material would do if you stay more focus while studying and on the answering question, thinking you're doing the test itself! God bless! :)
