Hi there,

Well I would suggest that you study alongside your studies with cds from Feuer nursing review @f-n-r.net as it is content based. If you can, try to get your hands on a kaplan qbank (or Kaplan 2007-2008 nclex prep book) to get you familar with what close to real nclex questions look like. Also the makers of the real nclex exam have study material that is very helpful for Nclex @ learningext.com (and very affordable). Nclex questions are quite different than most questions from nursing school being that nursing questions are comprehension based and are not application/analysis based (as Nclex). It is never too early to start thinking Nclex as you will be a nurse soon as time flies by in college. Use your winterbreak wisely...Good luck!

I bought the Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX PN by Mary Hogan (Reviews and Rationales). Has anyone else bought this book, and if so, did you like it? It's quite good, but now I'm nervous that the questions on the test aren't going to be like those encountered in any other book besides Kaplan.

I used the comprehensive for review with the Nclex-RN and I did like the content and the pharm section. The questions were ok...I still think that Kaplan and NCSBN offers the closest to what Nclex is like.

I did notice that a lot of the questions in the book I bought are application/analysis based, so that makes me feel a bit better.
