I think priority patient for lap chol surgery becouse its really important that patient is ready for surgery, #2 patient with dressing change, #3 teaching the doughter and #4 giving report to RN. Taking care of actual patient needs always comes first. This is just my opinion I might be wrong.:crash_com

Hello peeps,
Just wondering if you any of you can give me tips on how to tackle prioritizing patient care tasks?? Thanks
Example: A patient scheduled for a laproscopic cholesystectomy. Teaching the daughter of a patient medication regimen. Giving report to a RN. A patient requiring a dressing change. In which order would you do these??
