Tips on Nursing School

I just went through a separation... So as far as a spouse I have non. Um. my mother lives in a city that's about an hour from me, my father is deceased...My mother does however help out with the kiddos, as well as their dad and his family when possible. When it comes to house work, I'm on my own.

Are you planning to attend to CCBC nursing program? If so , its a good school but they prefer you not to work but you can work . I know one girl attending the program and she is working full time. Its great that you have family members to help out with childcare because you will need them alot.

As far as your question about the HESI goes, I have taken it twice. I made the mistake the first time of not studying far enough in advance for the test, and using the incorrect study guide. I would highly recommend you get the Evolve Elsevier HESI study guide. This is what I used to study the second time around, and began slowly studying several months in advance. They also have a phone app that you can use to study while you're on the go.

As far as working full-time - you can try to do it and see if it works for you. Some people are able to, others are not. It would be good to have a backup plan in place (financial aid, student loans, etc.) in case you are unable to do it and want to continue with the program.
