Time to Move On...

I had an interview about 5 weeks ago. The next day I sent thank you notes to all the managers. Two weeks later I called the managers and was told the information was sent to the recruiter. I called the recruiter several days later and was told to call back the middle of the following week as nothing has been decided yet. I call back the following week, left a message with the recruiter--no return call. The following week I send an email to the recruiter inquiring about the position--no return email. I can take a hint--it's time to move on.

All this time I have been applying for other positions at other places, as well as this hospital. I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't even get a "regret-to-inform-you" email. I understand they're busy, really, I get that. Maybe my expectations are too high for today's professionals?? Oh well. It is what it is.

I am really sorry. I know what you are going through and it really scrapes away at your confidence. Know that there is something better out there waiting for you and that this isn't the place that deserves your talent. Don't think all professionals are careless in updating potential candidates maybe just this certain company. Take care!

Until you get that job offer letter in your hand you should continue to apply and interview.
