Thoughts on this program

I am on the fence about this program. I wanted to know if anyone has take upper level nursing courses at another University and had them accepted by WGU? In 2011 and 2012 I took 4 BSN courses, plus a micro and I have all the elective courses done (except for math). I have a terrible time with Math and have been having a hard time getting the pre requisite done to take statistics. Does anyone have any advice, etc?

I had my statistics, Microbiology and A&P prerequisites accepted by WGU. The actual BSN courses, however, are generally not accepted for transfer; you will most likely need to repeat them.

I should mention that, if you take the statistics offered by WGU, the course involves no math or calculations. You need to know the conceptual aspects of statistics for WGU's version of statistics, but you will not be doing any math whatsoever.

Ok, but do I need a college level math, because I don't have one.

I didn't have a college level math course, either. I still don't.

However, the transcript evaluator at WGU granted me an exemption from having to take their Foundations of College Mathematics course because my ASN degree enabled them to waive the requirement. In addition, WGU's statistics course will show up on your transcripts as an upper division college level math course if you were to take it.
