Do you know of stories of nurses dating inmates or flirting with inmates that got out of control?

or nurses dating officers and the affair causing a scandal?

or nurses dating fellow nurses in jail or prison and the affair getting out of control

I am just saying because where I work, the DON just was found having sex in the broom closet. I am new here. the whole place is abuzz with the news.

Yes, I have heard of nurses and COs hooking up with each other. It happens a lot & it's not surprising. You work with each other day after day & the hours are so long that eventually feelings develop. If people keep the relationship separate from work, it's fine. But when people keep the relationship into work, that's when things get ugly.

I worked at a jail where people hooked up in all the time. I almost walked in on a nurse & a CO doing the dirty in the bathroom. Yeah, thank goodness I was stopped by a nurse to talk to me!

Happens at my jail all the time. Even lawyers get down with the inmates lol.

what is the security like that lets lawyers get like that with inmates? I would think there are cameras everywhere?

with the one of the guys from co-operate who was visiting the site, who visits the site for audits and meetings etc etc

manipulative training is one of the jail/prison courses nurses have to complete upon hire. It makes sense. Remember the case about that prison seamstress who helped those 2 NY convicts escape prison. They manipulated her so bad to the point where she negotiated the killing of her own husband while spending months smuggling hacksaws, screw drivers etc in the ground beef she brought to them. That is manipulation at its best! How they easily put her behind the walls of prison while they escaped, albeit, they got caught but Gads!! some gullible even very strong nurses will have an affair with an inmate and believe it to be genuine though we all know that it will fall apart in the worst way ever without fail.

It does happen. In my state (and I'm sure others) it is considered rape to have any sexual contact with inmates.
