9/29 This week in PreRN I learned....

Sorry for the lateness!!

This week I learned....

-The heart is actually harder to learn then I thought it would be. In my MA program we learned the basics of the heart anatomy so this doesn't even compare. Tips and tricks please!

-I put in my application for my school's Spring 2016 ADN program! I find out if I get in mid-October. fingers crossed!!!

-We have a new EMR system at work and it has made the days drag on and on.

-This world we live in never ceases to amaze me....You find the some of the most evil people in the most unlikely places. :troll:

-I have decided that I really, really, enjoy my life a whole lot more now than I ever have, and I owe a lot of that to my husband.

What did you learn this week?

I learned that I can do better than I thought.

I had serious doubts about how I was going to do in school after 13 years out of college. It's been a very busy few weeks but now I'm building confidence because my grades have kicked butt so far!

I'm going to be disappointed the first time I don't get a 100 on a lab or quiz, but them's the breaks. You can't keep it up forever! Anyhow, I'm just taking a basic chemistry class and computer class so I should be getting good grades, lol!

I have pre-req/gen-ed senioritis. Seriously I cannot get myself motivated to study for A&P 2. I've gotten 9's and 10's on my lab quizzes and an 84 on my first exam so I'm okay but the motivation is not there.

I applied to my program the end of August and don't hear until the end of October. The wait isn't bothering me but it's just taking so long.

I have to take my kids to sell boy scout popcorn for the next month and that's not very fun for anyone.

This is me! The last 2 weeks, I have posted about my lack of motivation! I am burned out on the prereqs, I am just ready to start nursing school already! Hopefully we will kick into gear sooner rather than later!
