I'm currently a first-year pre-nursing student. I had a C in Chemistry 1 and I'm a mess! I take Microbiology and Chemistry 2 next semester. My career goal is to be a forensic nurse and work with the FBI or the GBI here in Georgia. I was thinking changing my major to Criminal Justice and then doing the accelerated track for a BSN. I need insight because honestly I'm at a lost. I know I want to be a nurse since I was little. I can complete my Criminal Justice degree in 3 years because of my current class load (Taking 16-17 hours each semester(: plus summer classes). How do you think this would look financially and career wise?

It's just one C. Find out why you didn't do better, fix it next semester and keep moving forward.

I do agree. One C did not kill anyone yet. Besides, doing 3 years of CJ and then ABSN will cost you an arm and a leg. Unless you are filthy rich, I would not advise.

Make sure you are staggering classes appropriately. Don't try to take very work intensive classes if you can avoid it.
