 Hello,

I have been observing this site for quite a well, and i guess im a very very proactive person. I am in the middle of doing my Bsc in Nursing, almost done. I will be doing some experience here in ICU before immigrating to USA to work for 2-3 years in ICU before applying. ( mainly for cred purposes if your thinking, just do 1 yr, you need 2 yrs credit rating to get the loans! ) Well im so baffled, .... I Want to go to a university in Florda to study to be a CRNA, so i will have 2-3 yrs experience, and the bls and als courses will be done, will have the nclex passed, gre will be done, but what is g.p. a??, we dont have that in the uk, i have 11 GCSE'S, which are all the subjects from A-C, and i will have my degree, it also says that you need to have a statistics course?, where would i do that, or would i need too?, i noticed that on all the websites for the university's they dont take into consideration nurses that may have had their nurse training outside of the USA, and whether they can vary their requirements. Any help would be great, cos im pulling my hair out, not knowin what to do??

Thanks

Nurse Monique

P.S im 19 years old.

Hello,

I am also English educated and studying Nursing here in America. A GPA is just a number that is made from how many credit classes you have taken and the grade received in them. Your best bet to find out what to do next is contact the university of Florida and find out what firm they accept to translate your English studies into the equivalent American studies. There are several firms that do this. I hope this helps you.
