The wait is killing me.

I start school in June. I've been waiting for this for two years and counting. I think the last two months is the worst! Lately, all I can think about is quitting my job, going to school, and getting on with my life. The days just can't pass fast enough but it seems as though everything has ground to a slow crawl! It's driving me nuts!

Can I get some love from other waiters out there? :)

I know the feeling. Hang in there.... I'm in the exact same position!!!

Me too! I start Aug and this is the wait of my life, it seems.

Welcome to the club!

At least you guys know your "in". Imagine my dilemma: I've been taking my pre-reqs for 3 years at night (while working full time), I have a 4.0, now I am waiting to hear if I got in the program of my choice that starts in August, and I won't find out until the last week of May or the first week of June (mind you our applications had to be turned in by January 31st). So not only am I on pins and needles waiting to hear if I got in, I am wondering if I should quit my full time job now in case I get in (risky) or just wait but not sign up for the summer classes that will make my life easier in case I get in so I don't have to take them while in the program, ya da ya da ya da...

I can't stand this waiting! Why do they make us wait so long??? I feel like my life is in complete LIMBO!

Congrats on at least getting in! If I knew I was in I'd be doing the happy dance and partying like there's no tomorrow cause once that program starts... YIKES!

Good luck!

The wait is the hardest part of it. Even though I was pretty sure I would get in, it was so hard, cause we didnt get the letters till later. I was totally cool until we didnt get them when we thought we were going to.

Hang in there, and good luck.

I hope you get in. You have worked hard and you deserve to get in.

Good Luck!!!

I was totally in that boat a little over a year ago. hang in there i know its hard, i waited 2 years on a wait list to start at my school, one thing nursing school has taught me is life never happens like you planned it

Thanks for 'da love, everyone. It will be here sooner than I think, and pretty soon I'll be wishing for some free time, I'm sure. I'm just trying to enjoy my social life while I have it, but da**, I don't remember being this excited for school...ever.

The worst was waiting for the acceptance...I am taking a full course load this summer...API and II...so I'll have a nice 4-week break in May before I really have to kick it up...but I don't think the nursing program will be so bad...I only have to take 2 classes a semester, and many students have to take a at least 4 each semester
