The Hobet

Iam due to take my HOBET for entrance into my school of choice sometime this month. Does anyone have a good reccomendation on a study book to get? Our own library carries nothing on it.

The Health Occupation Basic Entrance Test (HOBET) is a computer-based exam that is required for admission into most of the nursing programs in tennesse.

You want to get the same study guide as the one that is used for the NET, since it is the same company. In fact, the title of the book is "Study Guide for The NET, The HOBET, The HELP entrance tests". You can get it on Amazon.com:

http://www.amazon.com/Study-Guide-Hobet-entrance-tests/dp/0967544645/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1209994013&sr=1-2

Then read the sticky on this forum on taking the NET, and that will help you a lot in taking the HOBET.

Good luck and do great on that test! :yeah:

I thought the HOBET was for paramedic programs, and maybe rt and xray tech. At least that's how it's used in california. I've seen prep books for it at borders and other chain bookstores.
