The end of my first year is all most here!

Well i've gotten to the end of my first year as an RN!!!:balloons:

I worked on a med/surg floor, i've learned a lot, i've cried a lot, i've loved many of my patients, and some not so much. But I'm moving on to the OR. It's something I've really been interested in, so I'm excited.

Congratulations to every one who has gotten thru their first year, and the many more to come!

Congrats! I bet it feels great!!! My year mark is coming in June.........so I cant wait!!

Congrats on making it a year and your new job! My year will be up at the end of May. Time flies!

Only 2 more months left in my first year!!! So excited!

I still work in the same ICU, but I really like doing special procedures, so I may find a per diem job on the side doing that!

Congrats to us all!:balloons:

congrats to all of us for making it. i am an LVN whose one year anniversary was yesterday. i work med/surg and it has been a tough year. trying to learn to be a nurse while finishing my prereqs for RN program. tried to take anatomy and micro this semester and was failing anatomy so had to drop. hoping i can do it over the summer. i did have to go to one day a week at my hospital with school. god bless us all. still don't feel like i know enough but hope to feel better soon. i have too many patients on my floor 12 to 14.

My year ends in early August. Around June I am going parttime. See if it works well for me. If not boost back up to fulltime. I am hoping parttime will be better.

hmm, it'll be a year since graduation in May, July marks my passing the NCLEX -- when I legally became an RN--and September will see me reach one year as a working nurse. I think I'll celebrate all THREE :D
