Discussion

Thank you!

Just want to say thanks to those of you nurses (GrnTea, Esme12 and many others) who answer the student assistance threads so thoughtfully and inspire critical thinking in our nursing students.

I haven't been a student for quite a while, but I read these threads as a sort of "unofficial CEU" since I'm a school nurse and have long been outside of the acute setting. These threads help me keep up with my nursing basics (and the no so basics), and make me feel like I might even be able to do "real nursing" again in a pinch (I say that tongue-in-cheek, of course, but it is a common attitude towards the specialty).

Y'all are doing a wonderful thing for our profession's future. Thank y'all!

What a great post! :yeah:

I'm with you, Purple Scrubs---very grateful that there is a contingent of nurses who enjoy working with the pre-nursing and nursing students here. They seem to have endless patience, and I've got nothing but admiration and respect for them. BRAVO!!!!!

Thanks, Viva...and you are definitely one of the "many others" I referred to. I enjoy your posts very much. I would love to thank everyone by name but my AN favorites are TNTC!
