Thank you all

Even though many people don't know it, you guys are so helpful on this website. From the ones sharing how they passed, the ones offering encouragement, to the ones telling the story of how they triumphed after taking the test several time. I have went on this site during my years in nursing school numerous time but never posted. I finally created a profile today so I could say thanks. You guys don't know how important sharing your experiences is to all the guests to this website.

During my wait for my results, I stayed on this website day & night. Family and friends cannot relate to what you're going through like the nurses and nurses-to-be on this site can.

Apparently in Delaware, if you take the test early in the week, the results are online the next day. However, if you take the test late in the week, you have to wait over the weekend and into the next week to get your results. Took my test on 2-7-08, results on website 2-12-08. Delaware doesn't participate in Quick Results so I couldn't speed the process up. I passed with 118 questions! Had a lot of SATA, who would you d/c first if there is a disaster, med calcs!

I forgot to include what I used to study. I used NCLEX-RN Made Incredibly Easy, Cracking the NCLEX-RN - Princeton Review, Kaplan Med Cards ( I had a lot of med Qs), Saunders, and the Kaplan CD (a friend had the book).

I used the Kaplan book only when I took the PN test and passed with 85 qs. Passed the RN with 118 qs and used several different books, go figure.

I too, walked out feeling like I had failed. Had a lot of the SATA which I didn't feel thoroughly prepared for. But apparently I was!!
