We use Rosdahl's "Textbook of Basic Nursing", also by Lippincott. I actually like it, for the most part. It tends to break things down and uncomplicate them, which is nice for people like me with little to no medical background.
On the flip side, Memmler's "Structure and Function of the Human Body" (also published by Lippincott) seemed to overcomplicate the issues at times. There are still sections that I read through and don't understand...
Sorry you're not happy with your book. Can you supplement it with something a little deeper?
Nah no supplemental texts.. everything on the test is based outta that stupid ******* book!!!!!!!!
that kozier book, heard a lot of good things about it.
the book i have makes it seem like w'ere a bunch of morons that don't know how to be respectable to a person of a different religion. so they have steps on how to. AAARRGH! it's all fluff and no peanut butter

Alright,
I hate my textbook. It's Lippincott's Fundamental's of Nursing..
I feel like there is so much filler and not enough information.
Does anyone else use this and do you hate it as much as I do?/? So frustrating with this book.
